Show Society ENTERTAINS FOR SISTER. In honor of her sister, Miss Helen Mack, Miss Ada Mack entertained at a parcel shower Wednesday evening, at the home, 1462 Washington avenue. The engagement of Miss Helen was recently re-cently announced. AID SOCIETY MEETING. The Ladies' Aid society of tho Congregational Con-gregational church met this afternoon with Mrs. Vail, 1124 Twenty-fourth street, TO ORGANIZE JUNIOR RED CROSS. Friday evening at eight o'clock in the Central junior high school, Adams avenue and Twenty-fifth street, the teachers of all district schools and schools of Ogden will be present to hear Mrs. B. H. Johnston, Red Cross Instructor. A junior Red Cross will be organized. HISTORICAL SOCIETY." Mrs. W. H. Meal and Mrs. D. H. Adams will be hostesses to the members mem-bers of the Historical society Saturday afternoon, October 20th, at the University Univer-sity club.' Mrs. Josephine Hirst will have charge of the program. Miss Matilda Peterson, leader of discussion. Mrs. H. B. Johnston will talk on the American Red Cross work. All who wish to hear her must be there promptly at 2:30. ENLISTS IN NAVY. Yesterday Francis E. Meighan, of Devil's Slide, enlisted for service in the navy. He joined at the local recruiting re-cruiting station, as a machinist, second class. HERE ON VISIT. Mrs. Obadiah Henry and Mrs. Fred Henry, both of Indlanola, la., arrived today for a visit at tho homo of II. II. Lltzcnberg, 975 Twenty-second street. TO RESIDE HERE. Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Tribe, of St. Louis, Mo., arrived hero yesterday, where they will make their future homo. Mr. Tribe is an employe of the Union Pacific railroad. LEAVE FOR WEST. Mr., and Mrs. Patrick Healy departed yesterday over the Salt Lake routo for points In the west and southwest. TO VISIT RELATIVES. Miss Cuba Stark left yesterday over the Southern Pacific for Sacramento, Calif., where she will visit with relatives. rela-tives. HISTORICAL SOCIETY. The members of tho Historical Society So-ciety will meet tomorrow afternoon at the University club. Mrs. W. H. Meal and Mrs. D. II. Adams will be the hostesses. host-esses. Mrs. II. B.
