Figures in proof of this were presontod at a convention of executives of various state industrial associations with tho National Board of the National Manufacturers' association asso-ciation held in New York recently, a report on which was brought to Salt Lake yesterday by A. C. Rees, secretary secre-tary of the Utah Manufacturers' association. as-sociation. Mr. Rees attended the convention con-vention as a delegate from Utah. In addition to the facts concerning the amount of money Involved in tho contract cancellations tho convention brought out the further information that a large proportion of theso contracts con-tracts have never been put into tangible tan-gible or legal form, having boon accepted ac-cepted in oral conversation between manufacturer or his representatives and agents of the government.
