Show SUMMER SCHOOL AT LOGAN COLLEGE With the first term of the summer quarter at the Utah Agricultural College Col-lege nearing its close, registrations are already being made in person and by mail for the second term of six weeks. The second term begins Monday, Mon-day, July 22, and everything is In readiness for Immediate work. A large number of courses will be given covering work in twelve departments. Professor N. A. Pedersen will give two courses in English, Early Nineteenth Nine-teenth Century Poetry and Earl Nineteenth Nine-teenth Century Essays. Professor Z. B. Wallin will give courses in General Gen-eral Economics and in Rural Sociology. Sociolo-gy. Several art courses, Including pot'ery; china decoration and design; copper, brass and silver smithing; jewelry; basketry; leather work; show card and design writing; fabric decoration; decor-ation; wood ornamentation, and architectural archi-tectural composition will be given under un-der the direction of Professor Fletcher, Fletch-er, in addition, courses In textiles, foods, health work in schools, public school music, botany, geology, and penmanship will be offered. Of special spe-cial interest to agricultural students is the announcement that advanced work In agronomy may be taken under the direction of Dr. F. S. Harris, director of the Utah Experiment Station. A large enrollment is expected for tthe second term. Many students in attendance for the first six weeks will remain for the entire quarters and many new registrations are exnocted. |
