Show I THIRTEENTH WARD VAUDEVILLE PLEASES LARGE AUDIENCE. The vaudeville presented at the Thirteenth ward last night proved 10 be a big success and reflects considerable consider-able credit not only on those who took part but also on Miss McGaw, vrhose efforts made the results possible. Considerable credit Is also due Mr. F. L. Clawson who worked out the details of the stage settings. The presentation of the two one act plays brought out some excellent talent, tal-ent, oven beyond that of the amateur. The casts for these comedies were well chosen and the parts well taken. The minstrel act, the music furnished furnish-ed by the high school string quar-tctt, quar-tctt, as well as the reading by Miss McGaw and the panging by N. J. Brown, added a great deal to the evenings entertainmenL It is anticipated that the show will be given In some of the other wards of the city as well as In some of the country wards. |
