Show MUSIC AD LITERARY PROGRAM TO j BE GIVEN NEXT FRIDAY A delightful entertainment for the Parent-Teachers' association of tho Mound Fort school has been planned by Mrs. Norris for next Friday evening, even-ing, March -1, at 8 o'clock, In the Tenth ward on Canyon road and Washington avenue. A music and literary program will bo given with the following participating: participat-ing: Mrs. Norris. Mrs. Keeter, Mrs. Bornice Tyree, Mr. Joseph Williams, Miss Anna Williamson, Miss Helen Wotherspoon, Miss June Margaret Norris. Mrs. Alice Yarrington will accompany ac-company five Htle tots of the day nursery in several tuneful melodies melo-dies and Judge Harris will speak. The program Is well arranged and will be published in full tomorrow. Mrs. Yarrington has been training tho youngsters of the nursery and their appearance on tho program Friday Fri-day night will be of especial interest and an added feature of the finely appointed ap-pointed program. AT BERTHANA TONIGHT. The members of Weber academy class of 1917 will be the honor guests tonight at the annual Weber "Junior Prom," to be held in the Berthana hall. With them and their junior hosts will mingle tho faculty members, alumnus, lower classmen, prominent church officials and other guests from Ogden and other cities. Refreshments Refresh-ments will be served and the party will be concluded at midnight. Admission Ad-mission will be strictly by invitation. RETURNS HOME. Mrs. Otis A. White has just returned return-ed from a three-months' visit in California. Cal-ifornia. ENGAGEMENT Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Anderson announce an-nounce the engagement of their daughter daugh-ter Violet to Marcellus Smith, instructor instruc-tor in music at the Ogden high school. The marriage will take place In the aear future. MANY MOTHERS ATTEND "BETTER BABIES" LECTURES At the dispensary of the Children's (Vid society, over the Marshall drug ;tore, yesterday afternoon much interest inter-est was manifested by a goodly number num-ber of mothers of this city In the bet-;er bet-;er babies movement. A trained nurse vas present and gave a splendid lec ture on "Bathing and Clothing." A practical demonstration In bathing proved interesting to the mothers, as well as instructions on the choosing of baby's wearing apparel. At today's meeting "Feeding and Sleeping" were tho topics discussed. Every day this week at 3 p. m. helpful help-ful instructions to the mothers will be given and Instructive literature on tho care of the child will bo given to all interested.
