Show DEAF ID BUI H TO Gil HEIR POTATOES A half acre plot of ground was plowed plow-ed and otherwise made ready .this morning at the Utah State institution for the Deaf and Blind, for the planting plant-ing of potatoes. The work of planting plant-ing is to be done by a number of boys from each of the classes, who will be dressed in farm garb for tho purpose Each class group was busy today re moving tho eyes from a half bushel of potatoes. Each group, under the supervision of one of the Instructors of tho school, will tako care of four or five rows of the potato plants until the closo of the school year, and next fall will return re-turn and participate In the harvest. The ground utilized for the prospective prospec-tive potato patch Is located on Monroe avenue, southwest of primary hall, the new building at the state institution. oo |
