Show PLANS FOR BEST MEN TOCOMPETE Amateur Wrestlers to Meet in National A. A. U. Championships. Cham-pionships. NEW YORK, May 5. Plans aro under un-der way to havo the best amateur wrestlers of Chicago, New Orleans, Baltimore and New Yonc compete in the National A. A. U. wrestling championships cham-pionships which are to be held at Atlantic At-lantic City on May 11 and 12. New York will send at least sixteen men, Boston eight, Philadelphia four, three from Chicago, two each from Pittsburgh and Baltimore, and one from New Orleans. The winner and the runner-up in each of the eight classes in the recent Metropolitan wrestling championships w'Ul make up the team that will represent Now York. The team that will represent Philadelphia Phila-delphia will be made up mostly of inter-collegiate champions and former college title holders, headed by Mike Dorizas, the ex-Pcnnsylvanian groat all-around athlotc and wrestler. |
