Knins, chairman of the Liberty loan committee of the twelfth federal reserve district, with headquarters in San Francisco: "Editor Standard: Aside from the sense of national responsibility responsibil-ity it has awakened among the citizenship of the United States, the recent Liberty loan campaign will prove of inestimablo valuo, not only to each and every Individual In-dividual but to the very nation itself. it-self. While this knowledge Is a source of congratulation to us all and should be our greatest reward, re-ward, It must bo romombered that the good work necessarily has to go on and 'therefore calls for tho unremitting vigilance and cooperation co-operation of all who have tho best Interests of our great country at heart "Tho public should fully understand under-stand that hereafter a part of their current income must bo de-votod de-votod to the war expenses of our National Government. "As this Is an actual condition confronting us and not a mere theory, everybody, from the lowest low-est to tho highest, should begin at once to regulate his or her private pri-vate and business affairs with that Idea clearly In mind.
