Show UU' MUST FIGHT TO THE END, DR. ILIFF SAYS SALT LAKE, Aug. 24. Dr. T. C. Illff, for thirty years a resident of Salt Lake City and founder of the Iliff Methodist church, arrived in Salt Lake yesterday and is at tho Hotpl Utah. Dr. Iliff Is at present financial manager man-ager and dedicator of churches throughout tho country. He has invitations invi-tations to go to points covering as wide a territory as between Ely, Nev., and Bismarck, N. D. He expects to leave Monday either for Boise or Denver, Den-ver, whero his headquarters are situated. sit-uated. Dr. Iliff said, in referring to tho war situation, that tho country is facing the most serious event in its history. He expressed the opinion that now that the United States is in the conflict con-flict the people must not give up until their efforts are crowned with victory. |
