Show SMALLPOX ADDS TO WAR HORRORS Washington, April 26 The horroi-s of the civil war in Mexico were in-tens.fied in-tens.fied today by the report to the state department and to the Mpxican agencies here that there is a violent outbreak of smallpox and typhoid fever fe-ver in Mexico CitJ , The news to the agen of Mr Car-ranza Car-ranza was that he had realized th situation and had provided a special train which Is to take Rupplips of all kinds, including vaccine, to the national nation-al capltai Mr. Aredondo, Carranza s agent, was informed that .John Belt the private secretary of John R. Silli-man, Silli-man, who represents this government with Carranza, will accompany the train. It is also announced by Mr Aredondo Aredon-do that on the return of this train from Mexico Ciu it will stop at Pa Ohuca and bring troru there Mr Duval West to Vera Cruz. Mr West Is hur-rying hur-rying to Washington, haing had his interviews with ail the important i alefs In arms in Mexico. State department officials are doing all they can to alleviate the suffering in Mexico ity and the American Red Cross will assist There are not sufficient reports yet in Washington to show how long the epidemic has existed and what iU extenl is at this time. The Carranza agency has a bulletin tonight stating that Obregon marched through Silao yesterday In the direction direc-tion of Aguas Caliente6 Silao is north of Irapuato This is taken as indicating that all of th forces of General Villa have moved north of the latter town. His agents here have information that troops are flocking to him from the northwest and thp north and that he is soon to meet and check the adance of Obregon. Obre-gon.
