Show 1 PUBLIC PRINTING GRAFT IS TOLO Syracuse, May 7. A mass of testimony testi-mony designed to show that there was waste in the execution in Albany of orders and contracts for public printing was presented in the supremo court here today by counsel for Theodore Roosevelt. Charles M. Winchester, general manager of the J. 13 Lyon company, testified to talking talk-ing with William .1 Barnes about billing bill-ing work ordered by the Journal company com-pany to public officials instead of to the Journal company direct. Mr. Barnes, he said, wanted the bills sent to the Journal. While the witnesses were testifying, Colonel Roosevelt sat at the table occupied by his counsel and studiously read Greek poetry. oo |
