Show oo MONOGRINS NOT IN SCUTARI London, June 29 9:03 P m. Almost Al-most coincident with the report from Rome that the Montenegrins imd occupied oc-cupied Scutari. Albania. Andre Rabo-vitch, Rabo-vitch, former prime minister of Mon-tenegro, Mon-tenegro, who is now In London on a special mission, announced that Montenegro Mon-tenegro had no intention of occupying occupy-ing Scutari He explained that Montenegro Mon-tenegro entered certain parts of Albania Al-bania for strategic reasons only Scutarj was an object of contention between Montenegro and the greal powers during the Balkan war. The Montenegrin forces on April 23, 1913, captured the city after a slego which lasted from the preceding October. Prior to this, the powers had decided de-cided to include Scutari in the future state of Albania and had offered compensation com-pensation to Kini; Nicholas in money and land on the condition that he give up Scutari. Eventually on further demand of the powers. King Nicholas decided to evacuate Scutari, which was occupied by an international force on Ma 11, 1912. A recent official note issued by the Montenegrin government explained that strategic and political reasons Impelled Im-pelled the Montenegrin descent on Albania Al-bania and gave as an additional reason rea-son that other powers had already occupied oc-cupied portions of Albania.
