Show FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. S. J, FUELL TOMdH Mrs. Samanlhia J. Farrell who passed away December 25 at tho age of seventy-nine years, was one of the earliest pioneers of the state, having crossed the plains with an ox-team company in 1852 with her parents Billa D. and Mary A. Stoddard Dickson. Dick-son. The family came to Ogden a half century ago and were prominently prominent-ly identified with the development of this city. Mrs, Farrell was the widow of the late William Farrell who served serv-ed the city as city councilman, superintendent super-intendent of city waterworks and street department and "chief of the fire department at different times. The deceased was a devoted, loving mother, a woman of high ideals and a noble chai-acter and one who endeared en-deared herself to all who knew her. The following children survive: Mrs4 Lucy McDermott and Billa Cheney of Ogden; John E. Cheeney of Oakland, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; also the follow-in follow-in brotners and sisters; Mrs. William Henderson of Panguitch, Utah; Albert Al-bert D. Dickson and William H. Dickson Dick-son of Richfield, Utah. The funeral service will be held Sunday at the Larkin chapel, conducted conduct-ed by Bishop Owen M. Sanderson. Remains Re-mains -will lie in state at the chapel this afternoon and evening and Sunday Sun-day until funeral hour. Interment Ogden City cemeteiy. Automobile cortege. rtr |
