The Hoard is to be highly complimented on the faculty which it has secured. Prof. C. J. Jensen, Principal, is a man of mature experience nnd high scholarship, having had experience ex-perience both in general educational educa-tional work and in Church school work, tin! latter having been received re-ceived at the Snow Academy which has a corps of 13 teacheis and w here he w as engaged for several ears, and the II. Y.J Uuivcsity, which stands in the forefront among institutions of higher education in Utah Prof. Jensen will have charge of the work in Science and Mathematics Miss Vilatc U'.liott of Provo will have charge of the English nnd l'rcpatory Subjects. Miss Elliott was trained at the II. Y. Unierstt, from which she was graduated. She Has had nine 1 years experience in educational work and has recently returned from a two years mission in Europe Prof. Henry Otte, a German by nationality, is a musician ot rare attainments, having received re-ceived his mnsical education in apennan conservatory. Prof. Ulle will have charge of the choral work in the Academy ami will also organise and train an orchestra and a baud. Prof, Otte will also engage to give private instrumental lessons in piano, violin, cornet, etc. A fourth instructor may be engaged latter as the demands of the itislutitiuu mav require. |
