Show Deaths and Funerals NORTON The funeral of Frances Helen Norton was held yesterday afternoon aft-ernoon in the Lindqulst chapel, with Bishop M. B Richardson presiding. The speakers were Ezra H. G. Williams Wil-liams and Francis Wiggins. Miss Lucille Lu-cille Williams,; sang "Beautiful Isle" and "Your Sweet Little Rosebud" and May Bartlctt sang "Sweet Spirit, Hear My Prayer" Interment was in the City cemetery, the grave being dedicated dedi-cated by Elder Williams. BENNETT At G o'clock this morning morn-ing George Bennett, a respected pioneer pio-neer of West Point, Davis county, died at his home of general debility, at the age of 73 years years. He was in Illinois March 14. 1843, and came to Utah in the early days, settling in Davis county He Is survived by a wife, three sons, Bishop George R Bennett, John H. Bennett and Alvin II. Bennett, and six daughters, Mrs. John Criddle, Mrs. R. H. Chrlstensen, Mrs. Levi Wheeler, Mrs. Arthur Sherwood, Sher-wood, Mrs. Joseph Dawson and Mrs. Joseph Powell, also ono brother and two sisters. Mr. Bennett was a member mem-ber of the high priests quorum of the North Davis stake and for many yeara had been an active member of the Mormon church, lie was baptised into the church when a mere boy. on |
