Show CITY COUNCIL The city dads met in regular session last Monday night with Mayor Eldrcdgc and all council-men council-men present. After passing of bills the following fol-lowing business was transacted: The city marshal reported no arrests, no fines, for montli 1 of IJeTlieureii'tttrery'rcporied "tat there -was on hand in the general fund on Dec. 31, 1907, $826.07. The treasurer also reported that there was in the electric light fund on the above date, $1,073.37. Outstanding warrants, war-rants, Si 1,92. The recorder reported in the general fund on Dec. 3!, 1906 $698,97. Outstanding warrants, $127.10. In the electric light account, on Dec. 1906, 1,063.45, Adjourned to Tuesday cven-iK- , The council met as per adjournment ad-journment with the mayor and quorum present. Bishop Croft Was present ami presented a verbal petition ' in regards to a rate for lighting up the stake house ami nsked that the same be referred to a com- mittce so that some satislnctory w rate could be made.
