Show BICYCLE RIDERS ARE BEFORE THE POLICE COURT JUDGE Complaints from residents on South Washington avenue of bicyclists riding rid-ing on tho sidewalks, brought about the arrest yesterday evening o? nearly a dozen offenders against this section of the city traffic ordinance. Tho arrests were made by Patrolman Walter Wal-ter Marlin, who was assigned to special spe-cial duty near the south city limits. This morning in tho municipal court, the offenders pleaded guilty and were given suspended sentences. Before passing sontence, Judge G. S, Barker reviewed tho lnw on the case, warning the defendants that under un-der no conditions oould anyone ride a bicycle on tho sidewalks of Ogdon and stating that hereafter the law was to bo strictly enforced by fining pr imprisonment. Joe Hunter and Mrs. Bessie Nixon, who were arrested last night by Patrolmen Pa-trolmen Richardson and Blackburn, in a passenger coach, stationed in the Denver and Rio Grande railroad yards batwoon Twenty-first and Twontieth streets, pleaded guilty to charges of trospuss. Hunter said he would leave town today, If given tho opportunity. It waa granted. Tho woman'a case was taken under advisomont.
