Show REPUBLICAN PRIMARIES In accordance with the call of the Republican State Committee, and action ac-tion taken thereon by the W$ber County Republican Central Committee, Commit-tee, primaries arc hereby callpd to be held in the several election districts of Weber County on Friday, April 2Sth, at 8 o'clock p. m for the pur- to the State Convention and to tho Congressional Convention of the First District of the Republican Party to be held at Provo, Utah, May 1st, for the purpose of electing delegates and alternates to the Republican National Convention to be held at Chicago June 7, 1916. The same delegates chosen at said primaries will attend both of said Conventions. Con-ventions. The apportionment of delegates to said Convention is upon tho basis of one delegate for each seventy votes or major portion thereof caBt for Hon. Joseph Howell for Congress at the general election of 1914, and thereunder there-under "Weber County is entitled to seventy-four delegates to said Conventions. Conven-tions. The County Committee has apportioned appor-tioned the same among the election districts of Weber County on substantially substan-tially the same apportionment, as follows: fol-lows: Districts In Ogden City. The primaries for those election districts dis-tricts within the several wards of Ogden City will be held as follows: First Ward City Hall. Second Ward Third Ward Amusement Amuse-ment Hall. Third Ward Seventh Ward Amusement Amuse-ment Hrill. Fourth Ward Court House. Fifth Ward Fifth Ward Amusement Amuse-ment Hall. The County Committee adopted a resolution providing- for a meeting of the delegates from Weber County, so chosen as aforesaid, to be held at the County Court House In Ogden City on Saturday, April 29th, at 2 p. m., for the purpose of organization, etc. All qualified voters believing in the principles of the Republican Party an respectfully Invited to attend and participate par-ticipate in the primaries called for the above purpose. Especially are all those former members of the Republican Republi-can Party, who in recent campaigns have been separated from the party by reason of internal dissensions amongst us, urged to be present and participate in these primaries, to tho end that all of those who believe in Republican principles and wish to now renew or continue their allegiance to the party of Lincoln, Grant and Mc-Kinley, Mc-Kinley, may do so by attending thoso primaries, which have for their ultimate ulti-mate purpose the election of a Re I publican President of the United j States.
