OCR Text	Show C. C. MICHE1ER IS ACCORDED ROiRS C. C. Michener of Ogden has been named executive escretary of tho League to Enforce Peace, of which ex-President William II. Taft is president, presi-dent, and which is considered as one of the foremost peace societies of the world. News of the honor bestowed on the Ogden man, was received in the city yesterday from Washington, D. C, where he is attending the convention con-vention of the league. Mr. Michener has been known in other national and international movements, having been especially prominent In Y M. C. A. work, as one of tho International directors. Ho was named as a delegate from Ogden, Og-den, to tho present convention, by Mayor A R. Heywood.
