An increase of nearly 7 per cent in the number I j. . of students in American colleges, uni- f versities and technological schools in J 1914, over the previous year is shown J t in the annual report of the federal ' commissioner of education which has j I m just been made public. The figures j are 216,493, compared with 202,231 in Ml 1913. The report shows that men ,M still outnumber women in higher edu- .1 cation.
