Show 100 Oil TO NOW HT HE 010 ill HIS WATCH Forgetfulness on the part of Frank Lane as to whether he gave J Reeves a watch to sell,' gained freedom for the latter this morning: Reeves was arrested Saturday morning on complaint com-plaint of Lane, who alleged that the defendant had stolen his watch. At the trial this morning, it was learned that the two men had been rooming together and went out for a "celebration" "celebra-tion" Friday night. While on the spree. Lane's watch got Into the possession pos-session of Reeves and the letter tried to sell It. Reeves claimed that his companion gave him the watch. The latter was too drunk to.positivelv deny de-ny the statement and, on motion of the assistant city attorney, the case was dismissed. Lane was locked up this morning- on the charge of drunk- enness. J C. J. Sullivan and Lon Davis, plain I drunks, were given suspended sentences sen-tences and the charge against Jacob Post, for riding a bicycle on the sidewalk, side-walk, was withdrawn. William Jar- vis. alleged to have committed, a I nuisance, forfeited $5 bail.
