Show oo PRIZE COURT TO CONDEMN SHIPS London, July 12, 3:38 p. m On behalf be-half of the crown, the attorney general, gen-eral, Sir Edward Carson, today asked the British prize court to condemn the Norwegian steamers Alfred Nobel, Kim, Bjoerstdjern BJosnson and the Swedish steamer Fridland, which have been detained for some time by the British authorities. Tho attorney general asserted theBe vessels had been carrying absolute and conditional condition-al contraband from America intended for German consumption. Thirty-eight Vessels Captured. In opening tho case Sir Edward said 3S other vessels with similar cargoes had beert captured. Copenhagen, he declared, had virtually vir-tually been turned Into a depot for feeding German troops. Tho cargoes car-goes in question consisted for the most part of farm produce, meat from the great American packing houses and lard which is used extensively exten-sively in Germany in place of 'butter.
