Ruby, pitching pitch-ing for the "Clerks," was hit somewhat some-what freely, but only once for an extra ex-tra base. As usual, the second contest of the doubleheader was the event of the day. This was played by the Never-RIps Never-RIps and the Glasmann Bowlers and ended with a score of 5 to 3 In favor of the league leaders. It took two extra Innings, however, -for the "Rips" to hang tho Indian sign on the Bowlers, Bowl-ers, as Magnate "Abe" Glasmann gathered up a fast team yesterday and the fans stayed until nearly 7 p m. to see tho finish. Pitcher "Brose" Hill of tho Never-Rips was tho particular partic-ular star of tho game, though "Bunk" Stewart, the Bowlers' hurler, played him a close second. For six Innings Hill pitched no-hlt ball and allowed only two singles thereafter. Stewart hold up until the fatal ninth and then weakened enough to allow the NeVer-Rlps NeVer-Rlps to get over tho two winning runs.
