Show rOIIFI ITI I FIR Thl Jefferson City, Mo., July 2.--Fred Poynter. a young farmer, shot and killed four persons of one family near Vienna. Mo., as the result of a quarrel quar-rel over the harvesting of a wheat crop, according to messages received here tonight. The dead are Mrs. Julia Breece, 70 years old, her son, George Breece. and her daughters, Mrs. Rose Breece Wright and Miss Mattie Breece. Poynter was tenant on Mrs. Breece's farm. The message received here by Judge John G Slate said Mrs. Breece : fired at Poynter. The latter then I .killed Mrs. Breece, her son and daugh- j tew in turn.
