PUNTING WINTER WHEAT WINS FAVOR Logan, Nov. 9. A great victory has been won in Millard county by Coun ty Agent Welsh, who has succeeded in overthrowing tho time-honored custom cus-tom of planting nothing but spring wheat. He has demonstrated to the farmers that in changing from spring wheat to such winter wheats as Turkey Tur-key Red, they only have to water once instead of six time: they have a much better yield, and they harvest beforo rust begins.
