Show Society MRS. H. L. BELL HOSTESS. Mrs. H. L. Bell will entertain in compliment to her house guest Miss Kathoiine Riley of Mercada, Cal., and Miss Viola Taylor of Portervllle, Cal.. tomorrow afternoon at tho Bell home, 612 Twonty-fourth street. PLEASANT EVENTS FOR BRIDE-TO-BE. Miss Lucille Ballautyno, whosb engagement en-gagement to James Scowcroft has been announced, was tho complimented complimen-ted guest at two delightfully arranged affairs Saturday afternoon, and evening, eve-ning, presided over by Mrs. Henry Volker at the J. W. F. Volker homo on Twenty-seventh street. The guests in the afternoon were just the ladies and Kensington was the main feature of entertainment, followed by a miscellaneous shower of gifts upon the bride-to-be. In tho evening tho spacious lawn was Illuminated with Japanese lanterns lan-terns and several games of tennis were enjoyed, luncheon was served and dancing was a special feature. Miss Livlna and Miss Nellie Butler have returned to Salt Lake City after a pleasant visit with relatives and friends in this city. NOTED CLUB WOMAN. The club women of Ogden join the club women of the state in their Interest in the coming visit to Salt Lake of Mrs. Percy V Pennybacker of Austin, Texas, president of the General Gen-eral Federation of Women's clubs. Mrs. Pennybacker will arrive in Salt Lake Tuesday afternoon and will remain re-main until late Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Pennybacker will be accompanied accompan-ied by her daughter, Miss Ruth Pennybacker, Pen-nybacker, and the latter's room-mate at Vassar,, Miss Flora McClellan of Richmond, Va. , On Tuesday evening, Mrs. Penny-backer Penny-backer will deliver her lecture, "The Spirit of the Federation," at the Ladles' La-dles' Literary club, and on Wednesday at 12 o'clock at the Hotel Utah there will be & luncheon for club women, when Mrs. Pennybacker will be the guest of honor. A number of prominent promi-nent club women of Ogden are anticipating antici-pating the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Pennybacker in Salt Lake Tuesday and Wednesday. Ogdon women desiring to attend tho luncheon at the Hotel Utah will please notify Mrs. Fred H. Adams, Salt Lako City, this (Monday) evening. VISITING IN WYOMING.
