Show 00 Society DANCE IS PLANNED. The Ladies' Auxiliary to the Order nf Railway Conductors will entertain the members and their friends at a dance at the new K. of p. hall on New Years eve. Mrs. Frank Maher D. E. SULLIVAN SUCCESSFUL. The many Ogden friends of D. E Sullivan, a recent graduate of Notre Dame will be interested to know of his success in passing exam! nations in oratory in Wyoming. Mr. Sullivan will leave for Boston next Monday where he will take a special course In oratory at the Leland Pow ers school of Oratory. MISS MAHER IN OGDEN. Miss Katherine Maher of Salt Lako visited in Ogden during the week with Miss Murray. Miss Mahor was a guest of the Ognat club at their meeting meet-ing on Monday evening. OGNAT CLUB. GOLDEN WEDDING CELEBRATION One of the Interesting evnnts of the week was given on Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Eddlngton, 762 Twenty-seventh street. In honor of ber parents, Dr. and Mrs T. S. Wads-worth, Wads-worth, who celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on that date. Mrs. Eddlngton was assisted in entertaining enter-taining by her sister, Mrs. V. C. Ballantyne. Bal-lantyne. The home waa prettily decorated with a profusion of yellow and white chrysanthemums and in gold and white throughout About sixty members of the family and guests were present at the Eddington Ed-dington home during the afternoon and evening, several arriving from different points of Utah and Idaho for ' the occasion. Dr. and Mrs. Wadsworth are old time residents of this city, where they have a host of friends. Mr Wadsworth is 75 years of ago and Mrs Wads-worh Wads-worh is 69 They have nine living children, forty-two grand children and three great-grandchildren, nearly all of them being present at the golden wadding celebration. Late in the afternoon a course dinner din-ner was served by the Mesdames Eddington Ed-dington and Ballantyne, In the center of the beautifully set table, an immense im-mense cake, about four feet high, had been placed. Fifty gold and white candles were used to decorate the cake which was cut by Mr. and Mrs Wadsworth. Following are the names of the older members of the family and guests present: Dr. and Mrs T S.
