G Jones. Tho record for the stake of L' 04 1 4 made by Penisa Maid, in 1909 was beaten In each heat, reducing reduc-ing Etawah's own world record for a three heat race made last week at Columbus. Omar and Star Winter were the contenders. Peter McCor-mlck McCor-mlck was distanced in the first heat May Mac broke on the first turn in the second heat but was placed last by the Judges because of inlerference by Shult-r who was driving Peter Mc-Cormlck Mc-Cormlck on the track while the boat was trotted Murphy was the leading driver 01 the day, winning the Kentucky pacing futurity with Anna Bradford and the 2:20 pace with three-year-old Baron Maraue The unfinished 2:17 trot was ' wou by Hazel Laing, driven by Andrews An-drews Peter Pearl was the contender contend-er in the two heats trotted today. The 2.04 pace was a mere jog for R. H Brcat. HarTj Stokes, who raced King Couchman last year droe him, but R. II. Breat was much the best. William failed to beat his four-year-old world s record of 2 00. Mr. Billings Bil-lings rode Uhlan an eighth of a mile under saddle in 13 1-2 seconds. |
