Show RECITAL TONIGHT JtTI TABERNACLE WILL BE MUSICAL TREAT The recital tonight at the Ogden tabernacle will mark the final appearance appear-ance of Director Joseph Ballantyne of the Ogden tabernacle choir this season. The well known musician is to spend the greater portion of the summer studying in Paris, and will leave for Europe, Saturday afternoon after-noon of this week. The choir is to continue its work for the remainder of the month, under the direction of J Earl Ballantyne. a son of the director, di-rector, and w ill then be gien a vacation, vaca-tion, with the exception of one Sunday Sun-day a month, until September On his return home from Europe. Professor Ballantyne will spend several sev-eral days in New York City for the purpose of securing additional music to be added to the choir's repertoire for the Panama-Pacific and San Diego Die-go expositions trip and all of next season will be spent In preparing for that event. Last night, though disappointed at the inability of Miss Emma Lucy Gates to be present at the rehearsal, the choir went through its part In the big program in a most satisfying manner man-ner and will no doubt acquit itself with credit tonight The full program for the event is as follows "O Italia, Italia Beloved" ..Donizetti Ogden Tabernacle Choir, (a) "Bonnie Doon," Old Scotch. .. lb) "O Drj Those Tears," Del Riego (c) "Echo Song."
