Show BABY GIRL KILLED. Provo. July 31. Pauline the 16-months-old girl of D. J. Atherly of L; ke View, waa killed this morning at i : 45 by the work train on th Orem Interurban. The train was coming toward Provo, passing the Atherly home about two miles north of town The little girl was sitting between two ties on the track and was not observed ob-served until the train was too elos to be stopped, thorp being a curve in the road and by reason of the Child being between the ties. She raised Up wheu the train approached and was struck by thp fender, dving soon after. A single stroke of lightning in the Belgain Cong., killed nine men and women wo-men and severaly injured thirtvtwo other pertons, two of whom died later. lat-er. mmgm |
