Greek special Indian agent, has recommended that a district nurse be detailed there per- manently to assist in preventing tur-I tur-I ther spread of trachoma and to teach the red men to lead a more sanitary life ' Mr Creel and Miss Lucreatle Ross, i the government expert on trachoma, who has been detailed for work among the scattered tribes of Indians in this state, recently returned from I a trip to Washakie They say that conditions there are worse than in Skull valley, where it was found that 40 per cent of the Indians were suffering suf-fering from trachoma A large percentage per-centage was found to be afflicted with the disease at Washakie and there also is considerably more blindness blind-ness among this band. |
