Show uu C. J. NELSON DIES. Brigham City, Utah, March 5 C. J. Nolson, an old and highly respected respect-ed resident of this city, died at his home yesterday morning, after an illness ill-ness covering the greater portion of a year. Mr. Nelson was born In Sjealland, Denmark, January 9, 1847, and emigrated to America in 1857, later la-ter joining the dominant church In Utah. He was a conspicuous character charac-ter In and about the city, being at one time an employe of the Co-op In this city In the shoe manufacturing department. For some years hevserved as counselor coun-selor to the late Bishop Alvln Nlcn-ols, Nlcn-ols, and was a member of tho board of trustees of the Brigham City schools before the consolidation into one city district, and served for a number of years as city secton. He Is survived by a widow and a number of children. Funeral services will bo held in the Tabernacle Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, and interment inter-ment will be in the City cemetery. |
