Show REORGANIZING OE IDE 77TH QUORUM OF SEVENTY 1 At a special meeting in the Sixth ward yesterday afternoon, the old 77th quorum of Seventy was divided into two quorumB, which will be called call-ed the new 77th quorum and the 786lh quorum of Seventy, The meeting was called and presided over by President Pres-ident Brlgham H. Roberts and he was assisted in forming the new organizations organi-zations by the presidency of Ogden stake. The old 77th quorum of Seventy consisted of members of the Fourth and Sixth wards. The new 77th quorum quo-rum will take in the seventies of the Sixth ward; and the 1S6, those of the Fourth ward The men selected as presidents of the 77tb quorum are; Fred Foulger, F. W. Chambers, J. B. Foulger, Peter Erustrora, P. P. El-dredge, El-dredge, E. H. Chambers and R. T. Evans. A A. Oborn was selected to serve as secretary, owing to the former secretary. S. J. Grlx, having declined to be reappointed on account ac-count of having other duties to perform per-form in the ward. N. A. Gay, L. A. Van Dyke, H. P. Nockleby, A. H. Summerill and C. A-Manning A-Manning were selected to serve as presidents of the 186th quorum, with H. J. Westbrook as secretary. The other two presidents will be selected later. After the business of the meeting was finished, President Roberts spoke to the assembled members of tho two quorums regarding the speclaj work that pertained to their office in the priesthood and exhorted them to bo diligent In the doing of that work. |
