Show BANKERS TO MEET IN CITY OF PRICE In spite of th.- ia t that some members mem-bers of the Utah State Banker" association asso-ciation had expressed doubt that Price would be able to accommodate dele gates to a state convention, the members mem-bers of the association xecutlj board have shown their confidence In the little town as a convention city by deciding to hold the 1914 convention conven-tion there In June The Invitation was extended by Price nt the fifth an nual convention held at Heber City last June DUcussing the decision. I Bhepard of Logan secretary of th association, said last nght "It Is our custom to hold the annual an-nual convention m as many different towns ns possible. In order to ac quaint the members with 'he varied resources of I tab. We decided that Price had ample hotel and railroad facilities so we accepted tbeir Invitation. Invi-tation. There are four large hotels there, a good ball for the m-etiugs and six trains dally ' The executive committee meeting was held at the Hotel Utah. Salt Lake. Resolutions of sympathy for tho family fam-ily of George B Greenwood, former director of the association, who died several months ago. were passed. Sec retary Shepard reported that an ln-itatlon ln-itatlon extended to Fred E. He also said that other prominent eastern bankers would be present. Those present at the meeting were Frank Knox, president. H K Hatch of lxgan. first vice president, John D Pixon of Provo. second vice pres 'dent; J. E. Shepard of Logan, secretary; sec-retary; Carl R Marcusen. Price, Ralph E Hoag. Ogden. Joel R Par-rlsh. Par-rlsh. Woods Cross; Charles 3 Burton, Bur-ton, Salt Lake The decision as to the exact convention dato was left to President Knox. Secretary Shepard and Mr Marcusen. |
