Show oo WIFE ASKS $5000 FOR DEATH OF HUSBAND Salt Lake. ug 26. For the death of ber husband, Charles H Ingham, who was crushed under a city flusher several months ago while trying to stop the horses from running away. Mrs. Alice Ingham filed a claim wltn the city commission la3t night for 15000 damages. Shte avers that the city is responsible inasmuch as It was the breaking of a city hydrant that caused the runaway by throwing a stream of water onto the horeei while Ingham was tilling the flusher. Ingham rushed out to stop the team and was trampled under loot and killed. The claim was referred to the law department . "For the good of the service," N J Carter and A. A. Carlson were removed re-moved from the fire department last night on recommendation of W. H. Bywater, chief of the department. W. E. Wllklns and H. E. Anderson were appointed in their places. |
