A Startup, secretary pro tern of the Provo Prohibition league to the members of the league, the contents of which Indicate that the election for city officials this fall in Provo may be interesting In the let ter It is stated that the "Wets" are planning, hiring workers and, contrary contra-ry to the spirit of the commission form of government, have nominated a "Wet" ticket. Members of the league are urged lo work to prevent a backward step in Provo's moral pro- i gress and reminded that the league has some money left from the last I right Members of the league are I also asked to circulate for signatures .( pledge binding the signer to sup j port or vote for no candidate or par-tj par-tj not opposed to liquor |
