Two Rom neyi commanded the highest price. "A Lad. of Qua lit '. '' brought S40.100 and "Portrait of Lady Kllzaboth Twlsen" 188,000. The onlv real record breaker of the I evening was the Turner, a little water color, "Fluelln Lake of Lucerne," 'painted In 1840 for the father of John Ruskln.
