Show MAY BUILD TO BEAR RIVER VALLEY j In the early part of the week a corps of engineers for the Ogdcn I Rapid Transit company was spih out I to make lurther surveys for the prO-1 prO-1 posed Ogdcn-Logan extension of the company's Intcrurban electric rail -I way, but heavy snow storms necessitated necessi-tated the return of the men without , j having accomplished anything. President M S Browning stated this morning that the engineers will return to t!io work in the early part of next week If weather conditions are such that additional surveys can- not be successfully made, the recoil- i j noitering will be resumed as soon ns j it Is possible I The directors of the company will I traverse the three proposed routes at the earliest possible time with a view I to determining which direction will be tak.n In the building of the road I Mr. Browning Is of the opinion that nothing definite can be done by wnv of planning the work until weather i conditions arc more favorable This applies to building operations in the1 i city as well as outside The com - I pany is prepared, however, to start , ; construction work early in the season. Twenty-fourth and Wall avenue extensions, and the inlerurban building will embrace the Ogden-, Ogden-, lluntsville and the Ogden-Logan extensions ex-tensions i There is a possibility also that ii the Ogden-Logan road goes over the ; mountains v ia Liberty and Kden or Brigbam canyon, thai the comoany 1 will build an extension from Brig- ham City to the Bear River val-ley. |
