Show Bingham Society Mr. and Mi's. L, W. Nielsen, of Sandy attended the Jordan Bingham game Friday. A dance was given in the Can yon Hall Monday night. The music being furnished by the Gibson Girls. A dance was given at the Gem mell Memorial Club on Tuesday The music was furnished by the Ambassadors of the Country Club. The E. E. Bridge Club met at the Gemmell Memorial Club on Tuesday. Refreshments were served to Mrs. Kenneth Woods, Mrs. Latimer, Mrs. Severn Gran quist, Mrs. J. J. Doyle, Mrs. V. Christensen, Mrs. James Nerdin and Miss Vera G. Grandquist. Mrs. Bert Thaxton was taken to the County Hospital Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cheever are the happy parents of a boy bom to them on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hull returned re-turned home last week from Colorado Col-orado where they have been on their honey-moon. The Kiwanis Club entertained entertain-ed the members, wives and the friends Thursday evening in the Masonic Hall. Dinner was served ser-ved to forty. Cards and Mah Jongg was enjoyed by all. After the Jordan Bingham game Friday evening a dance was enjoyed by all. The music was furnished by the "Imperials." "Imper-ials." Mrs. . Harry Steele entertained entertain-ed at her home on Heaston Heights Thursday evening in honor of Mrs. A. E. Miller. Whist was played, Mrs. J. J. Doyle won first prize and Mrs. A. E. Miller Second. Luncheon was served to twenty five. Mr. Dell Webb, of Provo, lec tured to the students of the Bingham High School Thursday. Mrs. J. B. Myers entertained the Civic Club at her home on Thursday evening of last week. Luncheon was served to twelve. Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Aven and Mrs. Art Maly will leave today Saturday for a visit with rela- tives in Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. Corey Lieser spent Thur sday in Salt Lake. F. E. Turner was a Salt Lake visitor Thursday. Burl Eastwood and Orvil Piles arrived here Monday from Osgood, Os-good, Mo., to make their home. The many friends of Mrs. F. Thompson, the pleasing wife of City Marshal Frank Thompson will be pleased to learn that she is improving daily at the Bingham Bing-ham Hospital. 'Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Gust entertained en-tertained on Sunday in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Gust of La Crosse, Wisconsin. Dinner was served and covers were laid for twenty five persons. |
