Show MANY STUDENTS ' GIVEN AWARDS AT BINGHAM HIGH Honor awards for student activities were given 22 students at an honor day program held in the high school auditorium Tuesday, May 17. ' 1 The following presentation of awards were made: Pins to William Olson, Norma Olson Ol-son and June O'Neal; debating awards, Blanch Kenncr, Lola Rob-bins, Rob-bins, Walter English and Bert Giles; Copflertonian awards, Constantine Dijitikes and Mary Masters; Lincoln day essay medal, Mary Shaffer; year book awards, Roland Peterson and Constantine Diagikes; basket ball awards, Runner Slotte, Eddie Grant, Hon O'Neil, George Kosovitch and Lynal Brady. Each award presentation was preceded pre-ceded with a stunt illustrating the activity ac-tivity in which the students had engaged. en-gaged. ' The pin awards were made by Principal Prin-cipal R H.. Atkin; the debating awards by Miss Waldis, Copperton-ian Copperton-ian awards by Mr. Birch, the Lincoln day essay award by Miss Candland; year book by Mrs. Birch and the basket bas-ket ball awards by Coach McMullin. Musical selections were furnished by the high school band and a boys' chorus. |
