In a well played game Sunday at Garfield the Arthur team again won. over Magna, making it two straight. The Arthur team in the game Sun'-day Sun'-day came from behind, and staging a thrilling rally made five runs on five hits ending the game on the big end of a 6 to 3 score. Up until the eighth Inning it was a pitchers' battle between Walp and Dunn, both of whom pitched almost shut out ball. ' The game was'pdayed under protest pro-test due to the alleged ineligibility af Walp, Arthur pitcher. (Continued on Page 4.) nine Sunday by a score of 11 to 9. - . Manager Edwarl pitched eight Innings In-nings when dared by some of his friends, which conclusively proved he had lost none of his old-time "pep." Though Midvale made a rally In the ninth Inning, It was not sufficient suffi-cient to overcome the lead which had been piled up by the league leaders earlier in the game. Although beaten, Midvale, the new league entry, made a ' wonderful showing and undoubtedly will make the other teams of the league do some fast traveling before the second sec-ond half of the season is over. In the game Sunday the Midvale team proved the best hitters, getting eleven safe bingles to Copper's nine. Batting honors also went to the Midvale Mid-vale boys. Three Copper batsmen were among those getting home runs, Norek, Hepting and Ames all connected con-nected for a circuit of the diamond. The game summary follows. COPPER B. H. O. A.
