After the tegular routine of business was disposed of the following was transacted: Co. Supt. Doyden reported on the petition of I'lue View cili-zens cili-zens relative to dividing up ol Upton school district, aud stated that conditions did not warrant the division. The report of the superintendent was by motion acceptfd, Geo. Heard aud Win. Frost made a verbal request ou behalf of Coalville City for the privilege privi-lege of placing the city cage iu the couuty jail. The same was r.tauted at a reutal of $1 per year. The recorder's monthly report for March of i 124. 30, aud April of 143.45 was read and ordered filed. The clerk's statement off 3113,. 50, was read aud placed ou Ale. The official bauds of Silas M. Pack aud I. H. McCermick, of Kainas, Justice of the peace and road supervisor, respectively, were approved. Tbos. Richius Was appointed constable for llenefer precinct. An overdraft iu an amount siat to exceed 15,000 was placed with tkt First National Vaxk of Coalville, the rate of interest to be charged to be $y per cent, IU Staley was appointed road supervisor of Upton, viceW. H. Smith resigned. An ordiuaace entitled "An ordiuance fixing the license rate to be paid, and the time of payment pay-ment of the same by merchants and others in Summit county," was read the third time and passed.
