Show PRISON ROMANCE ENDS IN MARRIAGE Bride of Life Contict la Social Worker. Ilaton Kongo, La. A prison romance, ro-mance, Involving a convicted murderer murder-er serving a life term In the Lousiauu stale penitentiary, and a New Orleans social worker, was revealed here when It became known that K. K. Woolfero. a "trusty" In his fifth year of servitude, servi-tude, and Mrs. Martha H. Ogden, of New Orleans, were married recently by-City Judge Dewey J. Sanchez. Mrs. Ogden also Is divorced and her former hushairtl lives in New Orleans. She met Woolfero on visits to the state penitentiary ofllce here while engaged en-gaged In social work. Woolfero now Is a clerk nt the prison receiving station, sta-tion, on the outskirts of the city, while Mrs. Woolfero Is reported to have taken up her residence In Raton Rouge. Under provisions of the state law defining life term, Woolfero will go free on December 212, lO.'tS, ten years and six months after beginning his term. He has several times made tin successful application for pardon. |
