NEED OF A VIADUCT the board of education were confronted the necessity ot the viaduct across the railroads on twenty fourth street when they were considering the proposition of transferring the pupils from one school to another requiring a journey over the dangerous crossings the resolution of the oregon short line to early construct a viaduct where these tracks are a source of danger to the traveling public relieves us of the burden of making complaint but the work in that direction should be among the first improvements following the remodeling of the yards
