Show RAILWAY OFFICIALS CONSULT ON RATES Salt Lake, Juno 12. E. L. Lomax, passenger traffic manager for the Wostern Pacific; T C. Peck, general passenger agent for the Salt Lako Route, and Charles S. Fee, passenger traffic manager for the Southern Pacific, Pa-cific, held a consultation in the Hotel Utah yesterday in regard to futuro rates and excursions over the different differ-ent linos. "Wo didn't do anything." said Mr. Lomax last evening. "Wo merely came hero to talk matters over and did not expect to do anything but that. Tho summer rates for this year aro already fixed, but we are doing a little planning for the future. The report that the rates are to be raised is wrong. Wo are considering a general gen-eral rate proposition, but do not intend in-tend to raise the rates. Mr. Lomax and Mr. Lee left for San Francisco last evening, and Mr. Peck expects to leavo for his headquarters head-quarters In Los Angeles this evening. D. E.
