When the California delegation to tho Republican Republi-can national convention at Chicago arrived ar-rived here today aboard a special train, nnd It was learned that two delegates had beon doposod by the Republican national committee In favor fa-vor of ihc Taft delegates, talk of the creation of a third party was freely Indulged in Newspaper supporters of the Progressive Republicans urged them In editorials to Bupport a third party movement, if Roosevelt were not nominated, and resolutions, were adopted urging the Roosevelt delegates to "go the limit against those who arc putting through the anti-Roosevelt program at Chicago." A mass meeting to protest against the "outrageous tactics" of the national na-tional committee wno held at the depot de-pot here. The dolegates participated in adopting the resolutions, which read ; "We condemn, as a betrayal of trust a violation of precepts of decency and honor nnd as Intentional assault upon the Integrity of the Republican party, the outrageous conduct of the Republican Repub-lican national committee and the discredited dis-credited and repudiated bosses now dictating and controlling that committee, com-mittee, whereby delegates choBen by the people of their respective states In the Interests of Thcodoro Roos-velt Roos-velt are being denied Beats In said convention, while their places arc given to 'hand-picked' machlno puppets, pup-pets, chosen by tho bosses in the Interests In-terests of William K.
