Show SWEATING GREEN FRUIT BENEFICIAL Chicago, Dec. 20. Witnesses in the government's action to destroy eight carloads of oranges seized recentlv, 'near Proviso, 111., testified today that tho "sweating" process applied to turn the green fruit yellow was benericial. ' It was said that oranges frequently remain green until dead ripe on the tree and that sweating reduces the thickness of the rind and makes the fruit juicer ' E. G.
