Bybee of Uintah reported in Ogden last evening that n heavy storm visited his section in the morning, a wall of water rushing down the road-wav road-wav from the adjacent mountain two and one-half feet in height. Not much damage was done, however. In the northern part or Box Elder county a party of automoblllsts from Ogden and Salt Lake on a prospecting expedition, were overtaken by a cloudburst cloud-burst which destroyed seeral bridges and damaged the roads to such an extent ex-tent that they were unable to proceed fuither and were, in fact, compelled to abandon the machines until the flood water had subsided In the neighborhood neigh-borhood Gullies were washed out in the roadway, they said, to a depth of 10 feet They estimated that 6 inches of water fell within an hour. |
