Morrison, Mor-rison, one of the four Republican candidates can-didates at the primaries July 30. was eliminated tonight from th gubernatorial guberna-torial race by returns received from many parts of the state, leaving the contest still undecided and between John M. Haines and Paul Clagstono. An official count of the first and second choice votes will probably b necessary in order to decide tho nominee. nom-inee. Judge Budge Is defeated by Judge Stewart for justice of the supremo court. The contest for lieutenant governor gov-ernor Is still uncertain between 11. II. Tavlor and C. W. Dempster, with Taylor leading by a narrow margin. J. H. Peterson overwhelmingly defeated de-feated O. M. Vanduyn for attorney general, and O. V. Allen was nominated nom-inated state treasurer by a large majority. ma-jority. Burton L. French and Addison T. Smith are safely nominated for congressmen. con-gressmen. Shawhan.
