Show MASHER CAUGHT BYJFFICERS Farmington. Aug. 18. George Moore, who is held in jail here od suspicion of being the mysterious man who last week terrorized a number of I women and girls, was positively Identified Iden-tified this afternoon by Miss .Mamie JHess of this city, as the man who insulted her at S:30 o'clock Friday evening Sheriff Harris is confident that no other person than his prisonor has been guilty of annoying unescorted women here during the past week. Moore will be arraigned today before 'justice of the Peace 1. H. Oviatt. The j exact nature of the charge to bo placed against him wes not determined deter-mined at a late hour tonight but the officers, in iew of the positive identification, iden-tification, expect to make the accu-'satiou accu-'satiou a graver one than mere disturbance dis-turbance of the peace. Miss Hess, who resides not far from the ranch of John Petty, where Moore was employed, had often seen Moore and Is positive that he is the i man who insultingly approached her and then fled after she recognized I him. ! No one has made any effort to secure se-cure ball for the prisoner, who is a 'stranger bere, and who Is regarded .by the officers as being in some degree- abnormal. Moore's arrest was made at midnight mid-night Friday, following the attempt of a man to" force his attention upon two daughters of former Sheriff Abbott Ab-bott and an unsuccessful chase.
